The Center for Nursing Workforce Employment Education commissioned by the Ministry of Health and Welfare is operated to provide a vision for the nursing profession through customized education and solve the problem of shortage of nurses in small and mid-sized hospitals. The education program consists of education and on-site training for inactive nurses, occupational education for comprehensive nursing care service, career education for soon-to-be graduates of nursing colleges and competency improvement education for nurse managers. In addition, competency improvement education and organizational culture improvement programs are offered to prevent the turnover of active nurses. Through its headquarter and 7 regional chapters, the Center has built a network for employment and actively engages in job placement activities.
